During your post-operative care you will be seeing Dr. Jeffery Ward, the associate of Dr. Stark. Dr. Ward has been practicing with Dr. Stark since 1993. He earned his Doctorate of Optometry from Ohio State University in 1992. Dr. Jeffery Ward was the first optometrist to be residency trained in ocular disease at the Cincinnati Eye Institute in 1993.

Dr. Jeffery Ward specializes in post-operative cataract care and glaucoma evaluation and treatment. He also has advanced training in treatment of other ocular diseases including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and dry eye disorders. Dr. Jeffery Ward also has extensive experience in refractive surgery (RK, PRK, LASIK) care and was the co-founder of the Optometric Refractive Surgery Society, which was developed to educate other optometrists throughout the United States about refractive surgery. Dr. Ward has lectured at local, state, and national continuing education meetings for optometrists and ophthalmologists.
